M.Sc., N.D., D.Ac.

Acupuncturist, Naturopath, Remedial Therapist

Andrash was the founder and clinical coordinator of the Fertility and IVF Support Centre until the end of 2018, when he decided to pursue a carrier full time in law.

He was an accredited Acupuncturist and Naturopath with 25 years of clinical experience.

He graduated as a mathematician, and worked as a computer network specialist in the University of Western Australia before, surrendering to his long time passion, he commenced formal studies in Natural Medicine, and graduated as a Naturopath with a graduate diploma in Acupuncture.

Following post graduate studies in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, he started his private practice in Perth, WA. In 2000, he published a book on Acupuncture diagnostic and treatment methods, and for six years he lectured Acupuncture in the Australian Institute of Holistic medicine. In 2006 he resigned from teaching to focus entirely on his clinical practice.

He has been working in the area of fertility and IVF support since 1999, and while he welcomed the research on acupuncture fertility support, he was highly critical of the acupuncture treatment methods which were employed in the clinical trials on IVF support. Consequently, he started his own research on traditional and modern acupuncture texts, and developed his own system of acupuncture for fertility support.

In 2006, with the support and encouragement of Dr Thalina Lindquist, he established the Fertility and IVF Support Centre in the East Victoria Park Medical Centre (at that time also known as Reach for Health Centre), where it operated for a number of years. With the retirement of Dr Lindquist, Andrash relocated the Fertility and IVF Support Centre to the Claremont Medical Complex where it operated until the end of 2018.

Parallel to his passion to fertility, he also developed a unique pain management system with the combination of Acupuncture, Bowen Therapy and the cutting edge technology of frequency specific microcurrent therapy. He established the Neck'n'Back clinic, which also operated from the Claremont Medical Complex.

He is a grandfather of two boys. His favourite pastime activities are kite surfing, skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.
